A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children’s Team as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £48,474. You’ll be joining a Local Authority who believe that children are the future, and their mission is to show kindness, respect and fairness whilst trying to give every child the best possible chance of an amazing life.

Responsibilities for you as an Advanced Practitioner:
- Manage a caseload of up to 8 Children and Young People with complex and challenging needs.
- Work along side the Team Manager to provide supervision of Trainee Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers.
- Attend relevant meetings.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements for you as an Advanced Practitioner:
- Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work
- Social Work England Registration
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Significant experience within front-line Childrens Social Work
- Management or Supervisory experience
- A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations.
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary scale: £45,441 to £48,474 dependant on experience (Grade 10)
