Contract Type: Temporary until 20th September 2024 to provide Maternity Cover, Full time, 37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time, tempoary
Family Support Worker in our Parenting and Family Support Service. (Maternity Cover until approximately September 2024).
We are looking for someone who has the experience of family support working directly with children and families. A person who is confident, knowledgeable and has the skills to succeed in this intensive parenting and family support role and who is able to work in a busy working environment.
We are looking for a highly motivated practitioner who can work as part of a family support team and work collaboratively with our partners.
A person that is competent of recording on an electronic system and who is a reflective practitioner.
A family support worker who understands safeguarding and thresholds.
You will have the ability to, and experience of completing parenting sessions and other appropriate interventions with families that have complex needs at a Team Around the Child level. You will use a whole family approach and evidenced based practices to improve the outcomes for children and families you work with.
