GLUING MINDER – FOOD PACKAGING

CAMBRIDGESHIRE / NORTHANTS

£Open DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Overtime + Pension + Bonus

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday / 7:00am – 12:30pm Friday
(Potential evening shift available 5pm – 4am Monday, Wednesday Thursday and
5pm – 10pm Thursday off Friday)

Our Client specialises in innovative food service packaging. They operate in the food service market covering a range of sectors ranging from; high street food outlets, leisure & retail eateries to contract catering and travel.

They are currently looking for a Gluing Minder to join their team in their busy production department.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in operating folding gluing machines in carton board format. Design types include, crash lock, straight line & 4/6 corner cartons.
  • Skills in Window Patching & CE Machines also preferred but not essential.
  • Experienced in operating cold & hot gluing systems.
  • Conscientious, reliable and team player.
  • Be able to carry out basic daily/weekly maintenance tasks.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and on own initiative.
  • Lead by example in all facets of work-related activities.
  • Achieve agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards & integrity of manufactured products at all time.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself & colleagues.
  • Good communication with the Operations manager.
  • Show a proactive approach in the work environment.
