Fixed Term for up to 18 months
Full time 35 hours per week
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to work on signal processing for wireless networks research for 18 months. The selected applicant will research advanced sensing and communications, radar signal processing and distributed signal processing, information-theoretic study of 6G wireless networks, and privacy-preserving distributed learning. Applicants with research experience in 5G NR, real-time signal processing implementation, convex optimization techniques, stochastic geometry, statistical signal processing and beamforming (but not limited to) are encouraged to apply.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Knowledge in full-duplex radio, sensing and communications
- Knowledge of advanced radar signal processing and distributed signal processing
- 5G NR standard
- Wireless transceiver design and performance evaluation
- Strong mathematics skills – Linear algebra/matrix theory/probability/statistics
- FPGA implementation, Prototype using USRPs, Deep learning algorithms
