​A leading national security and FM services of Security Services including Manned Guarding, patrol + responses and systems is seeking to appoint an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities selling a range of security services into the corporate, void, public sector and construction areas.

Ideally, you will be based in southern Scotland with good access to local transport links.

Due to continued growth and a multitude of new opportunities our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to proactively identify, develop and secure new business.

Applicants would not need to possess security industry knowledge however a strong history of solutions sales is a must. Ideally, you are to be based within an hour of Glasgow/Edinburgh and be able to travel extensively across the area. This company will support you with resources and time to build that pipeline with a long-term sales strategy in which a polished sales professional will thrive.

The Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Director and be part of a UK-wide team of Business Development Managers. A full detailed and structured ongoing training and self-development programme is on offer to the successful candidate.

What are they asking for?

A strong and successful sales background is needed – solutions sales is ideal.

Any service sector knowledge or security-related sales experience sector would be useful- e.g. manned guarding, security, cleaning, FM, outsourced services, reception, concierge services, recruitment, vacant/void Property, CCTV or Fire

Ability to cost opportunities identified Quality presenter ability to close.

Persuasive and credible with the ability to sell concepts and ideas by gaining commitment.

Ability to quickly develop rapport but can overcome barriers to win business.

Ability to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face-to-face.

Organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.

Must hold a valid full UK driving license.

Focuses on results and aims to deliver an extraordinary performance.

Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for growth within new clients and execute strategy.

Generate growth by keen networking and developing identified clients.

Consultative selling of a range of services: e.g., static manned guarding, patrol + response along with security systems.

Achieving financial sales targets across both new and existing clients.

Lead and/or support in the negotiation of sales opportunities, working collaboratively with the Bid Team and Finance and within central bid guidelines.

Retain a strong understanding of current operations, competitor positions, and market trends.

Attend relevant trade events and actively pursue networking opportunities within the sector.
