Core-Asset are working on an exciting opportunity for a Client Adviser Assistant to join a boutique investment management firm in the Edinburgh city centre. The role will entail supporting advisers with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Fantastic opportunity to join a renowned firm in a varied role with the opportunity to grow and take on professional qualifications.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in financial services and a broad knowledge of financial markets
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficient use of MS Office suite especially Excel
  • PowerPoint skills
  • Familiar or willing to learn to use of office systems
  • Relevant CISI or equivalent qualifications or prepared to study for professional

Core Responsibilities:

  • Preparing marketing presentations
  • Preparing account opening paperwork
  • Obtaining all relevant client identifying documentation
  • Populating the CRM system with relevant client information
  • Setting up accounts with custodians and strategic partners.
  • Drafting of suitability letters and advice notices for client advisers
  • Arranging annual reviews with clients and preparing meeting packs
  • Drafting post meeting review notes and ongoing suitability confirmations
  • Updating & maintaining client records in the CRM system
  • Drafting client instructions for payments and security transactions
  • Preparing adhoc valuations and performance reports (LIPPER)
  • Populating proprietary liquidity and cashflow modelling tools
  • Liaising and providing 3rd party tax advisers and accountants with annual tax packs from various custodians and investment managers.
