Job description: Seeking a highly competent Senior Accountant to contribute to the exciting growth trajectory of an investment firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting financial reporting deadlines and implementing standardised processes and controls.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
• Prepare, reconcile, and review monthly journal entries for various operating companies
• Act as a resource to support the operating subsidiaries in the UK program to resolve general ledger issues
• Prepare audit documentation and engage with third parties to support internal and external audit
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, FRS 102 – UK GAAP
• Prepare and analyse monthly data as part of internal trend analysis, budgeting, and program reporting
• Support responses to periodic investor questions as needed
• Other duties as requested by the Financial Controller and/or Management team

Private Global Investment Firm |Central London Office Location

Successful Candidate:

• Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
• 3+ years experience in Financial Services sector
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements (UK GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP)
• Available at short notice or immediately
