Computershare have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our Product Innovation team supporting our Share Plans business worldwide. We are a global, diverse and dynamic team focused on growing and optimising our product offerings in the equity compensation industry.

A role you will love

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will work closely with the business and technology teams to produce high quality solutions which meet client, operational and regulatory needs and drive change. You will be responsible for ensuring analysis best practises are adhered to using your knowledge of technology, tools and techniques. You will collaborate and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business, collaborating across regions and functions.

You work with the Product Owner/Manager to organise and prioritise the product requirements backlog in alignment with product objectives.

You are also responsible for the performance management and leadership of a small team of Business Analysts, ensuring the team is motivated and delivers on its goals, as well as coaching and mentoring the BA team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Elicit and translate business needs into business and functional requirements
  • Facilitate and provide leadership in requirements elicitation meetings
  • Ensure business objectives delivery
  • Upskilling of Business Analyst community
  • Assist in the prioritisation of work pipeline
  • Quality assurance and risk management to all change projects

What will you bring to the role?

We’re looking for robust evidence of experience as a business analyst, ideally in a global organisation, with knowledge of a broad range of business analysis tools, techniques and frameworks.

Along with someone that can display strong leadership skills, with proven line management experience managing other Business Analysts in particular.

In addition, you will have:

  • Experience coaching and mentoring analysts
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and tailor communication to different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and accomplished problem-solver who constructively challenges the status quo
  • Substantial knowledge of Agile lifecycle methodology
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver tactical and strategic business solutions
  • Commercially aware and understanding of benefit realisation
