Job description: This is an opportunity for a proactive Project Support Officer to provide support across all areas of public health work. The applicant will be able to maintain databases; support coordination of programmes of work aimed at improving health and wellbeing; plan commitments; organise meetings and events; take minutes; raise purchase requisitions and handle invoices. They will also be the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries from a range of people including professionals and members of the public.

The Public Health Team work flexibly; the post holder will be expected to be in the office (Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42) on one day per week. The post holder can choose to work from home or from the office on the remaining week days.

Interviews will be held on Monday 5th February 2024.
