About the Role:
We are seeking parents returning to the workforce for our part-time Community Home Helper positions. This role is ideal for those who have nurtured a family and are now ready to extend their caregiving skills to support elderly individuals in their homes, aiding them in maintaining their independence with respect and compassion.
Responsibilities:
Provide engaging companionship, drawing on your experience nurturing your own family.
Assist with daily tasks like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands – similar to managing a household.
Help with personal care, applying the sensitivity and respect you’ve developed as a parent.
Encourage physical activities and exercises, using your experience in family fitness routines.
Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility, ensuring client safety.
Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation if needed.
