LOCATION: Kingsway, Newport

SHIFT PATTERN: Sunday to Thursday

WORKING HOURS: 40h HOURS PER WEEK

PAY RATE: £10.42 PER HOUR

JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW:

ABM is currently recruiting for a Full Time Permanent Cleaning Operative for an immediate start working in a retail setting located in Newport.

The purpose of this position is to assist the ABM team to provide a high-quality cleaning service. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and dedicated team that drives a positive working environment whilst achieving results and taking pride in their work.

Outdoor Duties: Keeping loading bays and service areas clean and free of litter. Placing waste bags and card board into the appropriate bins.

Indoor Duties: Keeping the Shopping Mall free of litter and slip/trip hazards. Public Toilet cleaning.

Requirements

Good basic knowledge of Health and Safety.

Candidates must be able to apply their own work schedules, in regard to the Outdoor work, recognising and prioritising tasks needing attention.

Training will be given if required.

Desirable:

Good command of the English language, for 2way radio and Customer Service purposes.

Presentable, courteous and self motivated.
