NHS Lothian North West Edinburgh, Community Learning Disability Team.

An Exciting opportunity is available to join the North West Community Learning Disability team within NHS Lothian. We have a Band 6 post available for a Registered Nurse and we are looking for a passionate, caring, motivated person to join our highly skilled nursing team.

We work within a multidisciplinary team who offer assessment, treatment & interventions, training, and advice to people with a learning disability and their families and carers.

Roles

The band 6 community nurse will work under the direction of the Band 7 Nurse Team Lead. The nurse will have their own patient caseload. They will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide a high quality, comprehensive and dynamic specialist nursing service to maintain and improve the health and well being of children and adults with learning disabilities in a community setting. They will provide supervision and ongoing support of the Band 5 nurses within the team.
