You will support and contribute to our working culture and transforming our digital presence, in a large-scale digital enterprise environment. Working closely with the Product Owner, and everyone in the team to improve and build quality into our products. An Automation test engineer who has the ability to set up an automation framework and drive the automation in an onshore and offshore delivery model.
What you’ll be doing
- Plan and manage the automation test effort and achieve results in the given time frame.
- Manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
- Develop support applications in the creation of automated tests of regression test cases.
- Create automated test scripts using approved requirements, design, and testing standards.
- Validation of requirements and design while creating the Test Plan and Scripts
- Submit scripts to peer and supervisor review process.
- Identify data required for execution and support regression testing during releases.
- Communicate issues to the test/development teams.
- Coordinate environment usage and job scheduling with other test team members.
- Continuous improvement of the testing process and fine-tuning the framework for
- optimized test results.
- Continue to develop your own industry, functional, technical, and administrative skills
Skills and Experiences
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing tools (Webdriver.io and Appium)
- Strong knowledge of Java/JavaScript with hands on experience with Junit/TestNG.
- Good knowledge of cloud-hosted, web and mobile application automated testing platform (Sauce labs/Headspin/Browser stack/Perfecto).
- Experience with Simulators and Cloud devices.
- Good knowledge of any BDD framework (Cucumber/JBehave)
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, and ideally J2EE architecture.
- Agile methodology and Scrum or Kanban framework.
- Knowledge of Hybrid and Native mobile apps
