FTE: 1 FTE (working 37 hours per week)
Salary: UH8 £44,263pa to £46,974pa with potential to progress to £56,021pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

Main duties and responsibilities
We’re seeking an experienced change manager to keep a keen eye on our changing student numbers and recruitment patterns in order to develop, plan and forecast staffing resourcing needs at the University. Building relationships with SBUs enhanced by close working with our HR Business Partners, you will support the preparation of appropriate recruitment campaigns, recruitment documentation, and succession planning needs.
You will also assist managers and be involved at an early stage in identifying the HR implications of change management strategies, including providing advice and guidance on the review of structures, redundancies, consultation documents, supporting the implementation of agreed changes with the HR Business Partners and meeting with recognised trade unions and staff as required. As our change management specialist, you will identify and circulate best practice advice to HR colleagues and liaise closely with other members of the HR Management Team to ensure consistency of application of HR policies and practices across the University.
Skills and experience required
You will have substantial proven change management experience, particularly working through people aspects of workplace change, along with workforce planning experience including forecasting workforce needs and drafting workforce plans and strategies as well as implementing the initiatives to ensure the organisation’s plans are met. You’ll be experienced in providing advice to managers and have good presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information in a way that is understood and helpful to a variety of audiences including senior management. We’re looking for someone who can develop professional working relationships, with the ability to influence and negotiate, but who is methodical demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work independently whilst contributing to the team and demonstrating consistency.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with a minimum of a degree or equivalent qualification, or substantial proven work experience. You will need a CIPD Qualification and CIPD Membership.
