SALARY- £33,024 – £34,723 / £38,223- £42,403 p.a. i.e. grade 9 pre progression/grade 11 post progression

We are looking to recruit a permanent fulltime Social Worker within the Easington Locality Team. The Team enjoys excellent working relationships with colleagues in Health and other statutory and non-statutory organisations.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

The social worker is responsible for completing assessments of need care planning and reviewing and working within multi-disciplinary settings for Adults with a physical disability and older people.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

It is expected that the successful candidate will have experience of working within Adult social care together with an up to date knowledge of multi-agency working and the associated adult care agenda.

Required qualifications: Degree in SW, Dip SW, CSS or CQSW or equivalent, plus Social Work England registration ( or be applying for registration).

HYBRID WORKING

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
