CV Consulting has been assigned to recruit an Internal Comms Project Manager for a growing corporate communications agency that specialises in engaging with employee audiences. Through private investment they have huge plans for grow this year so it’s an exciting time to join them.
The project manager will lead client projects, managing small project teams to support leaders within client accounts to develop strategies and solutions that achieve desired outcomes in a measurable way.
You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of IC project work for clients across in various industry sectors both in the UK and further afield.
Responsibilities:
Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
Take client briefs, interrogating and challenging them constructively from the outset to ensure a common understanding of desired outcomes.
Lead the development of response to client briefs, involving the right expertise from teammates.
Make recommendations for the costing of solutions, liaising with teammates and involving the director of consultancy for sign-off.
Present a response to briefs to client, either in person or virtually.
Work with other project managers to stay abreast of project budgets and manage the project’s commercial success.
In consultation with the director of consultancy, manage scope-creep and resulting cost conversations with client.
Review all deliverables for quality control before they’re sent to client, keeping the director of consultancy informed and asking for their review if necessary.
Identify opportunities for further work within existing clients.
Lead or contribute to client pitches and proposals.
Line manages consultants, supporting them in their professional development and flagging any performance concerns.
Contribute to thought leadership and marketing.
Actively promote the agency through external channels such as LinkedIn
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
6 years IC and employee engagement experience inhouse or within an employee engagement agency/consultancy.
Ideas, innovative thinking and strategic solutions.
Extensive knowledge of communicating with internal audiences in large organisations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A keen eye for best practice visualisation and design.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Commercial acumen and the ability to manage project budgets.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to interrogate and challenge constructively, asking great questions to identify what’s truly important.
