The role

In this exciting Business Analyst role here at M247, you will play a key role in our Business Applications Systems team, where you will identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to support future solutions, continuous improvement, and business success.

As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced and passionate Business Analyst with both a functional and technical understanding of Business Systems, who is adaptable, self-motivated, able to think independently and creatively.   • You will lead workshops with business stakeholders to confirm requirements, complete an impact assessment, take on problem statements and communicate clearly and effectively to our Business System Teams and the wider business.
  • You will be responsible for creating use cases, user stories, test cases and functional specifications, whilst documenting E2E Business Processes, with overall responsibility for product backlog grooming and sprint planning/prioritisation.
  • You will research and analyse the organisations existing business processes to make value-driven decisions and ensure the development team understands requirements to ensure quality and delivery.
  • You will oversee the implementation of development projects from the beginning to ensuring that the development meets the project scope.
  • You will identify any problems/risks and recommend future enhancements based on analysis and understanding of business processes.
  • You will analyse the gaps and interdependencies across the business to ensure risks are managed and stakeholders remain informed.
  • You will assist the developers with the day to day troubleshooting in relation to active developments.
  • You will work closely with the Customer Experience Manager, enabling them with the required documentation to ensure the deployment and integration of the change within the business is seamless.

Key Personal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • The ability to solve problems and think critically.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • An analytical mind.
  • Process modelling knowledge.
  • Ability to turn complex system process into simple and understandable business processes.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Proven in a Business Analyst role in fast-moving environments, working on CRM focussed business design.
  • Experience and gravitas when dealing with senior stakeholders
  • UX, customer journeys and insights.
  • Capturing and articulating the business requirements as a functional specification or user stories where appropriate.
  • Business process mapping.
  • Comfortable with a variety of methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experienced at user acceptance testing.
  • Understanding of data analysis and data models.
  • Use of Visio and agile tracking tools such as DevOps, Asana and/or Jira.
