About The Role
The FTI Consulting EMEA Leadership team drives the growth and ongoing transformation of the region and is looking for a highly capable and self-motivated individual to join the team.
This role reports to the EMEA Head of Strategy and Transformation as well as directly supports the Chief Operating Officer and EMEA Chairman on leading a number of strategic and transformation initiatives across the company.
Switching context effortlessly, you will support our leadership team in the running of FTI Consulting’s strategy across EMEA, helping them to prioritize, assess and execute across a variety of challenges and opportunities.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive, confident, and articulate strategy expert to be part of FTI growth in EMEA. The nature of the business and its rapid growth is such that it requires us to swiftly respond to events. A person well-suited to this role would be comfortable in leading within ambiguity, building relationships, managing very senior stakeholders and working with cross-functional and international teams. The responsibilities set out below intend to guide on typical activities for the role, however these will evolve based on the skills and experience of the candidate as well as the needs of the business.
What You’ll Do
· Data Analysis and Insight
o Work closely with the COO to create business plans and dashboards to provide data analysis and market insight.
o Proactively gather data and translate information (both financial and nonfinancial) into valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
o Communicate/present findings to members of senior management as needed, to inform and support them in their day-to-day management of regional activities and strategic decisions making.
· Strategic Planning
o Defining and managing strategic plans across the portfolio of FTI business segments and regions, evaluating areas of focus and metrics for success
o Presenting business cases to support company grow and potential M&A activity across EMEA.
· Direct Support of to the EMEA Head of Strategy and Transformation, also working closely with the EMEA COO and EMEA Chairman
o Provide solutions to unblock complex challenges, supporting better business decisions.
o Project manage leadership meeting preparation and creation of meeting materials to facilitate decision making.
o Provide strategic support to how the firm responds to external and internal events by conducting and compiling research on current market trends and competitors’ activity. Assess internal and external factors impacting the business and help devise strategies and policies to address them.
· Project Management
o Manage cross functional projects and follow up of key actions. Help collate key priorities and initiatives across the region, working across and within teams.
o Develop options and solutions, creating materials for discussion and to support leadership decision making.
o Cross- departmental relationship and stakeholder management. Influence outcomes and foster long-term partnerships and best practice sharing in the region.
o Undertake ad hoc project work at the request of the leadership team.

What You Will Need to Succeed
· MBA or CFA with Degree level education or equivalent
· Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (essential); Tableau and Power BI (desired)
· Over 6 years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment and in a professional services organization or strategy house.
· Experience working with senior stakeholders, preferably in a dynamic project-based work environment.
· Fluent in English and ideally in another language
· Self-starter and a finisher, able to use own initiative and take ownership, driven to deliver and exceed expectations.
· Problem solving and analytical mind-set to resolve complex challenges. Hypothesis-driven thinking, judgement, and creativity to solve challenging and ambiguous problems.
· Ability to process high volumes of complex information and synthesize key themes and issues.
· Strong capacity to rapidly identify key opportunities, issues and themes which have material impact.
· Extensive experience in managing and leading strategies in a financial environment with strong evaluation and decision-making skills. Strong ability to deal well with unexpected or adverse situations.
· Strong experience working on go to market projects or strategy consulting projects.
· Developing strong working relationships and thoughtfully balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder groups. Collaborative work style and ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization.
· Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
You Will Work With:
You will work report to our EMEA Head of Strategy and Transformation and work closely with the EMEA Chief Operating Officer and the EMEA Chairman. You will have the opportunity to partner with very senior leaders and teams across different countries and business segments. You will support EMEA leaders on a wide variety of initiatives related to business growth, strategic operational decisions and performance improvement projects.
