Job description: Highbury Recruitment are working with a new Client who require Assembly Technicians to join their workshop.
The Client is an established multi-disciplinary engineering company with experience in design, installation, and maintenance. They provide cutting-edge solutions for the aviation and food & beverage sectors.
With a recent expansion, we are looking for a Assembly Technician who will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, inspecting and quality checking of our manufactured products / equipment.
Main duties:
· Pick and Assemble products using prescribed processes
· Inspecting products
· Checking for quality of the products
The Candidate:
We are looking for a bit of an all-rounder who has experience with the duties outlined above.
Experience:
· Experience in fabrication preferred but not essential, training will be provided
· Able to read drawings / assembly product instructions preferred but not essential
· Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable, however consideration will be given to candidates without manufacturing experience who can show a desire to learn new skills and willingness to work
· Hand tools: 1 year (required)
· Power tools: 1 year (required)

· Able to follow direction
· Prepared to work in a team structure
· Good attitude and work ethic
· Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work
· Must be honest, reliable, hard-working and be a good timekeeper
· Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
· Physically fit as this is a demanding role
· Able to work on your own initiative
· Be proactive
· Good organisation skills
· Adaptable to varying working requirements and high paced environment
· Comply with health and safety requirements
The position is being offered as a full time, temporary to permanent role if the candidate can be on-time and show willingness to help. The position is subject to a successful probationary period. Immediate start available.
Expected salary: £15 per hour
