Spotlight on the East Lothian Community Hospital & Belhaven Hospital

There are exciting opportunities available to join East Lothian Community Hospital and Belhaven Hospital (in Dunbar) within NHS Lothian. We have positions available for Registered Nurses and we are looking for passionate, caring, motivated people to join our highly skilled nursing teams.

East Lothian Community Hospital

East Lothian Community Hospital features 6 in-patient wards :

  • Ward 1 is East Fortune House it is our 20 bedded Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care palliative care ward.
  • Ward 2 is Oaktree ward and it consists of 20 Mental Health beds separated into Functional, Hospital Based Complex Clinical Care and assessment beds.
  • Ward 3 is a 24 bedded medical/rehabilitation ward.
  • Ward 4 is a 20 bedded intermediary care beds/ rehab beds
  • Ward 5 is our new 24 bedded Orthopaedic rehabilitation ward.
  • Ward 6 consists of 12 beds intermediary care beds.

Belhaven Hospital at Dunbar have exciting and rewarding opportunities available for Band 5 nurses. Blossom House at Belhaven has 11 residents. Everyone in the team has an interest in caring for older people many of which are living with dementia and complex health conditions. They support their residents to live an independent life as possible and to remain in control of their lives, they encourage their residents to be as active as possible and to continue with their chosen activities either within their home or in the local community.

Expected salary: £30229 – 37664 per year
