Job description: JustOT are looking to recruit a Community Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £38 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with the below experience
1. Knowledge of specialist disability equipment and adaptations and of Manual Handling risk assessments and specialist equipment that will reduce care risk. Know relevant legislation/policies/codes of practice/guidance, including safeguarding, mental capacity assessments and best interest decision making.

2. Awareness of occupational therapy, person centred approaches in social care, including specialist occupational therapy assessments, and person-centred planning, needs, assets, risks and issues relating to adults with social care needs and their carers

3. Have proficient IT skills to be able to use standard packages and learn new packages as required, excellent communication skills and the ability to record clearly, concisely and accurately, ability to consult with people, their carers and colleagues.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
