Job description: Interim Financial Reporting Accountant – Museum – 6 month contract – £280 to £350 per day

Main responsibilities include:

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with required accounting standards.
• Provide financial advice to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Participate in financial audits.
• Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team.
• Manage financial databases and software systems.
• Support in other financial tasks as required.

A successful candidate should be:

• ACA qualified (if not, ACCA)
• Have a trong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Experience working in a Not for Profit organisation, ideally charities
• Comfortable producing financial accounts and assisting with year end.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills

I’m currently working with a highly recognisable Museum who are looking to bring on a technically strong Financial Reporting Accountant on a 6 month contract. This will be a great opportunity to enhance your reporting experience, whilst working for one of the most successful Museums in London
