What can you expect?

You will be working as part of a specialist team and will be supporting directly senior team members with all projects and queries from a large portfolio of international clients.

This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of clients, international and consultatively.

You will be involved in advising multinational companies on:

Reward benefit elements including retirement, insured benefits, perks/allowances and leave policies

Global benefits strategy, governance, audits and benchmarking

Expatriate support including consulting on retirement policies and the impact on benefits of changing countries

Mergers and acquisitions and new country start-ups

Global wellness

Ad-hoc multi-country / multiple Mercer lines of business projects

We will count on you to:

Work alongside more experienced colleagues to coordinate the delivery of services related to global offerings as outlined.

Proactively manage multi-country projects in coordination with Mercer and Marsh colleagues around the world.

Assist corporate HR contacts with queries concerning international benefit issues.

Become a local expert able to demo Mercer’s market leading technology.

Meet with clients on a regular basis, assisting senior consultants in the delivery of project materials.

Provide support on all people related aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions – managing issues in multiple countries as well as covering a broad range of people related issues from change in control terms and employee benefits through to project managing multi country work-streams (from due diligence to post-deal implementation).

Assist senior consultants with, and participate in, business development.

Liaise regularly with colleagues across Mercer lines of business (LOBs) and geographies to deliver maximum value managing a multiple service delivery model.

Have a high-level understanding of Mercer’s service offerings and capabilities across different LOBs and across geographies.

Be proactive and conduct new research to create client deliverables when engaging with clients and colleagues in a rapidly changing operating environment (for example in relation to country specific or regional legislative changes impacting benefits/reward provisions).

What you must have:

Excellent communication, analytical, organisational, planning and interpersonal skills.

Experience of international benefits valuable

Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders with different seniorities / geographies / languages.
