Our Management consulting teams work hand in hand with Arup’s entire range of technical experts, meaning clients gain access to insights and opportunities that other consultants miss. We are economists, business strategists, environmentalists, change managers, investment specialists and digital experts – all united by the desire to produce a more sustainable future for all.

Teams available within Management Consulting:

Business and Investor Advisory ( )

Available locations: London

We are looking for individuals with a bachelor’s degree (or higher level) in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Economics, Business or Finance discipline, or similar, with an interest in energy and modelling.

You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with a focus on energy market modelling using PLEXOS, a least cost minimisation software. The work covers a wide range of energy technologies, with a focus on driving net zero. You will get to handle and manage big datasets, working with both MS Excel and PLEXOS cloud.

Typical day to day tasks may include, but are not limited to, PLEXOS modelling, excel modelling, reviewing reports, providing inputs to business plans, supporting teams in preparing presentations on findings and conclusions, helping clients make better informed investment decisions, enhancing their sustainable and climate outcomes, and supporting organisations in implementing a responsible business approach to processes.
