Optime Group are looking for Security Officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe working environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for all colleagues, contractors.
What’s on offer:
- Location: Heathrow Airport, TW4 6JR
- Rate of pay: £12.34
- Shift Pattern: Full time
- Shift Timing: Earlies & Lates 9-12 hour shifts]
- Weekly Pay
- Temp to Perm (performance based)
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be fully referenced over the last 5-year. (Your referencing will be completed internally via Optime Group)
Responsibilities:
- The site is disused, there is no entry into the buildings and all patrols are carried out externally, within the fenced area of the site.
- To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
- Booking in and out of all Vehicles entering and leaving the site.
- Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- To deter theft, whether internal and/or external and other poor working practices.
- To respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager
- To highlight all breaches of security procedures including internal and external crime
About you:
- Must have a valid SIA licence.
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, either days or nights.
- A positive, customer-centric attitude with a genuine desire to create a pleasant experience for all airport visitors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and provide assistance in stressful situations.
- Proven experience in a security roles, preferably in an airport or similar environment.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to effectively identify potential security risks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and adhere to strict security protocols.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine security tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Must be over 18.
- Must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years.
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
