Tradewind are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher for one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral, easily accessible from Liverpool and Chester. Our client school are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to start as soon as possible for an on-going, full-time placement. Our client school are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to teach across KS3 and deliver Hospitality and Catering to KS4. Pay for this position is negotiable depending on experience and will pay up to £211.96 per day.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will be joining a department whose intent is to provide a curriculum that is interesting and relevant which references social and cultural issues. The departments schemes of work are taught to combine the students knowledge and practical skills whilst instilling a love of cooking.

To be considered for this Food Technology Teacher position at an outstanding Wirral school you must:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification with UK classroom based experience
  • Have experience teaching Food Technology & Hospitality and Catering across KS3 and KS4
  • Possess an Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Provide a full and complete CV history
  • Be able to provide 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
