Job description: We are currently working an exciting opportunity to join a well-established bespoke Precision Engineering organisation that spreads across numerous sectors including Aviation, Medical, Automotive and Military to name a few.
We are looking for someone who has a strong engineering mentality and has an inquisitive mindset, with the ability to problem solve, to drive an already strong team, working with Solidedge or Solidworks. The role does come with the progression path to Design manager in the future.
Responsibilities are as below:
- Liaising with the workshop to come up with concepts and drawings fit for manufacturing.
- Keep all records, revisions, and database up to date.
- CAM experience is desirable but not necessary.
- Experience designing Jigs and Fixtures
This is a fully on-site position, with the working hour of 8-5 Monday-Thursday and 8-12 Friday. You will receive £33-£38k DOE, 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days with service + bank holidays.
