Job description: As a Duty Engineer reporting to the Station Engineer, you’ll lead a skilled team to ensure safe, punctual, and cost-effective operations through the development, management, and delivery of line maintenance support.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Monitor the fleet status and Liaise with Maintrol/OMP/Station Engineers/LMM to
  • Ensure timely and efficient investigation/rectification of defects
  • Act as the main point of contact for your team, co-ordinating and managing all communications to/from the Station whilst on Duty
  • Liaise closely with OMP and review/schedule in Work Packs/Maintenance Slots for the Station producing and managing a daily/weekly action plan
  • Ensuring all preparation/production planning is completed to allow scheduled maintenance to be actioned with the correct manpower/resource/spares/tooling/ground service equipment keeping aircraft maintenance downtime within the agreed times/duration
  • Ensure Maintrol (and if required the Station Engineer/LMM) are informed of any issues which could impact OTP/Scheduled Maintenance/AOG’s/Incidents, and agree
  • Regular update intervals for further communications if required
  • Assist/provide Maintrol with any local knowledge/contacts during any maintenance activities as required
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, TUI procedures, Health and Safety and local airport regulations
  • Maintain a shift diary/handover on AMOS
  • Actively promote and support company KPI’s. TDR/OTP/deferred defects. Reduce and minimise any acceptable deferred defects, build a common culture of excellence in quality and delivery, delivering in a safe punctual cost effective manner
  • Liaise with contractors/third parties/local airport authorities as and when required
  • Manage your teams conduct, time keeping/performance and behaviour
  • Assist with projects set by Station Engineer/LMM as and when required

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience within aviation, holding an UK/EASA part 66 Licence with
  • relevant TUI group A/C types
  • Strong organisational skills to manage complex maintenance operations
  • Excellent communicatoracross all levels and platforms
  • Proficiency in IT and engineering systems like AMOS and other relevant tools
