Responsibilities:
Responsible for the functional and technical design of scalable, best in class Salesforce solutions for our customers
Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
Developing platform strategies regarding Salesforce roadmaps, architectural standards, operational and servicing models, compliance, etc.
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Ensuring adherence to the project’s scope and schedule and providing quality assurance during ongoing delivery
Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from design, test and build to implement robust solutions using Salesforce and provide leadership and mentorship where needed.
Providing thought-leadership and industry insight within your domain of specialisation
Helping to shape BearingPoint’s Salesforce consulting propositions and actively contributing to our practice
Competencies and Experience
5-8 years’ experience with the Salesforce platform preferably in various industries, with multiple Salesforce certifications with progress towards Technical Architect role and/or Solution Architect certifications.
Understanding and experience addressing the key architecture concerns (aka the architecture“-ilities” i.e. scalability, performance, availability, security, maintainability, operability, recoverability) in the context of Salesforce
Ability to architect compelling yet robust Salesforce solutions at multiple levels, from high-level application landscape down to design of specific features and functionality
Good understanding and hands on of Salesforce core capabilities (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud) and ideally at least one other Salesforce product line (e.g. Industry Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Commerce Cloud, CPQ, Mule Soft, etc.)
Experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions with deep understanding of features and functionality and ability to shape application, security, data, identity and integration models.
Good understanding of enterprise architecture and relevant Salesforce integration considerations
Experienced with relevant Salesforce software development lifecycle methodologies and Agile ways of working.
Strong background in either technology advisory or in-house consulting functions within Salesforce end-users
Ability to independently problem solve and research solutions.
Fluent English and strong written communication.
Strong interpersonal communication skills complemented by good stakeholder management.
Knowledge of Agile & Lean methodologies and experience of working in an Agile project environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience of working in Financial Services (esp. Insurance), Consumer Goods & Retail or Utilities Industry
