The remit of our team is to develop exciting new tools and methodologies, both to bolster the efficacy and impact of our bids, and to streamline efficiencies internally for all our colleagues within the Pursuit Center of Excellence.
This is a unique role for a Junior Project Manager with a genuine interest in technology and a passion for exploring innovative solutions, who can not only effectively manage and lead projects but also infuse them with innovative thinking and creative problem-solving.

We’re looking for someone who can:
- Support the Innovation Lead in managing innovation projects and delivering innovative solutions
- Think strategically and take an active role in developing new ideas with the team, with a knack for creative problem-solving and the ability to introduce innovative ideas and solutions to improve project outcomes
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, including the ability to define project goals, create roadmaps, and lead the team toward successful project completion
- Adapt to changing project requirements, technology shifts, and evolving project scopes
- Show a high-level of proactive resourcefulness, with the ability to seek out and leverage available information and contacts within the Deloitte network, to help us to deliver our projects

Technical skills and Experience:
Essentials
- Recognized project management qualification.
- Demonstrable experience as a junior project manager or similar.
- In-depth understanding of prevailing project management methods.
- Forethought, with the capacity to identify and minimize risks.
- Advanced user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Speed and agility; ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirables
- Whilst this is not a programming role, we would strongly prefer an understanding of full-stack technology development to facilitate effective collaboration and development with our small technical team. As an example, we develop in a number of different technologies, but we are currently focusing on web-based technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, and Web Sockets, which need to integrate with existing Deloitte infrastructure and services, such as DoL, SharePoint, OneDrive, Deloitte SSO, and so on.
- Experience working with teams in a professional services or large matrixed organization
- Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your “Immediate Family Members” are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
