We are on the hunt for a driven, creative, passionate Head Chef who can build, train and lead a team through the opening and continued success of this beautiful newly refurbished food led pub.
The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and Managing Director, who built a fantastic career in the hospitality sector before starting his own successful company, on this exciting new opening.
The role:
- As the Head Chef you will be accountable for each and every area of the kitchen operation.
- You will oversee the preparation and production of quality dishes with a real focus on consistency.
- You will engage your team to keep them motivated, informed and passionate about your business.
- You will be passionate about retaining and developing your team, with clear succession plans to ensure the right people are in the right place.
- You will be responsible for all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene within the kitchen, including training where necessary.
- Working closely with the General Manager you will be responsible for GP, Stock ordering and rotation as well as minimising wastage.
The ideal candidate?
- You will be a passionate Head Chef or Senior Sous looking to step up.

- The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. The ability to recruit, train, mentor, motivate and inspire your team with a focus on development and internal progression.

- A strong communicator who is good at developing strong relationships, gaining buy-in, and motivating the team.
