Conversion Manager (Student Recruitment) at University of Reading
Job Description
Each year Henley Business School contacts thousands of its offer holders and potential students to provide helpful information and insight to confirm their decision to study at one of the world’s most respected Business Schools. To keep pace with increased demand, an opportunity has arisen for a Conversion Manager to develop, implement and manage a programme of business school online and in-person events and activities to support the conversion of postgraduate offer holders to enrolled students.
The postholder will have lead responsibility for Henley’s student telephone calling campaigns, which support the conversion of postgraduate offer holders from all over the world, developing regular central conversion activities to support International and Home student recruitment teams, recruiting, training and supervising a team of student ambassadors, overseeing Henley’s Unibuddy online communities, as well as supporting colleagues in student recruitment and marketing.
The role is based at the Whiteknights Campus in Reading. You will be expected to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the office with option of home working on other days. During calling campaigns there are options to spend more time working from home.
You will have:
- Supervisory or management experience in a sales or marketing role.
- Experience of running conversion activities or events, ideally in a HE environment
- Experience of providing support to a sales or marketing dept., ideally in a HE environment
- Understanding of the postgraduate student recruitment market and factors influencing conversion
- Experience of briefing teams and providing logistical support to event owners and key stakeholders
- Good organisational and project management skills
- Comfortable working with data and strong reporting skills
Experience of successfully managing telephone calling campaigns or project managing outbound sales/marketing calling campaigns to achieve agreed targets would be helpful but is not essential.
