IT Services is a friendly, vibrant and fast-moving department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality digital technology services to our staff and students.
The University now seeks to appoint a Web Developer. Reporting to the Corporate Solutions Manager you will design, develop, test and maintain web applications, ensuring the required functionality, security and accessibility. You will implement responsive design, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and collaborate with various teams to enhance the user experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience of utilising web content management systems.
- Knowledge of securely working with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of web standards (W3C standards for WCAG 2.0).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A creative and problem-solving mindset.
