Role Description :-

The RGM Director of Consulting role is responsible for the delivery of high quality solutions to our prestigious client base in the RGM space. This includes pure consulting roles across the RGM pillars as well as capability building programmes for broader commercial teams. This is a client facing role operating across functions and levels. Reporting into the Director of Practice this role will also make an important contribution to the development of the practice and support new business development.

Responsibilities :-

RGM project delivery

Lead RGM projects in the following arenas

o Pricing Architecture

o Trade Terms

o Promo ROI

o Mix Management

o Cost Price Increases

Support clients in the Customer Implementation of the RGM project (e.g. land the Trade Terms once the Trade Terms framework has been designed)

Capture project learnings and the approach, especially deviations from the standard project approach for any RGM work, enabling TNG to have several examples, to serve as basis from which it can approach future projects

Develop resource (either through upskilling existing associates or finding new associates with deep RGM skill).

RGM Capability programme

Lead the delivery of these programmes in our clients

Work closely with our Operations team and Associates to ensure accreditation is in place for quality control

Build relationship with Associates to develop a pool of trusted experts

Be the custodian of the programme to ensure client satisfaction, content and user experience meets TNG standards

Business development

Support the Director of Practice, Customer and Busdev teams in the selling effort to (leads from Bus Dev team or self sourced)

Support the Busdev team in selling consulting work, specifically in the RGM space.

o Conversations, bringing in subject matter expertise, as required by the Bus Dev lead.

o Proposal writing, ensuring Busdev proposals are written consistent with client need and our solution design.

o Proposal conversion, ensuring client needs are met and the proposal/project plan is flexed to deliver the desired outcomes.

o Coaching/Mentoring of the Busdev team on how to engage with clients in the RGM space.

Support the development and content for the marketing plan for the RGM practice area, working with Marketing team

Capture projects as case studies, which can be leveraged as selling collateral.

Thought leadership

Working alongside the Director of Practice and Marketing team, develop content to promote TNG in the RGM arena. This may include whitepapers, webinars and/or as speaker at RC events.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

This role is aimed at a RGM practitioner with 5+ years experience in a blue chip supplier.

Deep experience in at least 2 of the RGM pillars (ideally 3).

Some consulting experience is preferred, ideally in the RGM space

A continuous improvement approach so that our solutions continuously and consistently delight our clients

Commercially astute to develop robust recommendations

Strong analytical skills

Effective communicator able to operate at all levels

Strong project management skills

Strong inter-personal skills

Expected salary: £80000 – 110000 per year
