Job description: As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating and optimising day-to-day warehouse activities within a heavily regulated sector. Your role will include implementing strategic initiatives, overseeing inventory management, and leading a dedicated team towards operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operations Manager include;
- Manage and enhance warehouse operations for optimal efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve productivity and streamline processes.
- Lead and inspire a motivated team to achieve set targets and goals.
- Implement best practices in inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
6 Month Fixed Term Contract|Globally Recognisable Business
- A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background – Essential
- Be Degree educated (or similar) – Advantageous
- Managed Multiple customers previously – Advantageous
- A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously – Essential.
- Have managed in excess of 80+ employees previously – Essential
- IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications – Advantageous
- Have good written and verbal communication skills ranging from Executive levels to shop floor Operatives.
- Be results driven and commercially minded.
- Be commutable to Leeds
