Our client is an expanding frozen food supplier and they are looking for an all rounder!
Skills/Experience required:
Goods in & out, stock control, team leader Responsible for leading and managing the warehouse team and ensuring efficient and timely receipt, storage, pick and pack, and dispatch of frozen, chilled and ambient goods. The Warehouse Operations Lead will also be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining warehouse hygiene standards, and ensuring Health and Safety regulations are met.
Responsibilities: – Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities – pick, pack and dispatch. – Supervise a team of warehouse associates and provide guidance as needed – Ensure efficient and accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes – Goods In and Goods Out loading, offloading Load and and using appropriate equipment and techniques – Safely operate pickers and warehouse equipment – Implement and maintain warehouse management system to track inventory and optimise workflow
– manage coldstore rooms and ambient stock ensuring space is managed effectively – Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations – Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols – Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.
