Job description: Building and Construction Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a leading Plumbing and Heating supplier based in Enfield.
Hours: Flexible 40hr week, additional hours as required
Basic Salary £50,000 – £60,000 per annum. (including company vehicle or allowance)
Main duties of a Warehouse Manager :
- Overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the Warehouse & Trade Counter operations
- Goods-in & Out control
- Effective and efficient management of team (approx’ 30) across current shift patterns, currently between 2am – 7pm
- Developing, coaching, counselling, disciplining, planning, monitoring & appraising job results.
- Pro-active and forward thinking, looking for improved, & future-proof, solutions within Warehouse procedures
- Daily coordination of resource levels between job functions, ensuring every shift adequately covered
- Position will join our existing Senior Management Team, along with preparation of monthly management reports, including KPI’s
- Communication – high level & across all facets of the business
- Work within the company structure alongside other Department Heads, Stakeholders and Senior Management
You will need to:
- Proven experience in distribution of multiple product ranges via multi-fleet distribution channels
- Familiarity with distribution databases & warehouse process systems
- Proven ability on communication & feedback
- Microsoft Windows, Office & Excel.
