i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant alternative provision academy based in the Chesterfield area who are looking to find a hard-working and dedicated Academic Tutor to work alongside the class teacher and conduct 1:1 & small group support for students based inside of the classroom.
This alternative provision academy is renowned for their dedicated in improving the all-round development of every student they work with at the school, and pride themselves on offering inclusive and forward-thinking teaching support during lesson time.

Academic Tutor – Role Information:
- Academic Tutor
- Located in Chesterfield (S41)
- Paid £450 per week during term time
- Monday to Friday role – Immediate Start
- FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
- Working across schools KS3 & KS4 department
- Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
- Conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions for pupils
- *NO UK visa sponsorship available for this role*
Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
- Prior experience working with young people
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Strong behaviour & classroom management skillset
- Passionate about the all-round development of students
- Naturally engaging and outgoing individual
- Ability to create inspiring and progressive learning experiences!
