Job Description

As a key member of our Biological Science Unit (BSU) team, you will support world-class research in our Home Office-licenced Animal Facility.  

Our small team support staff across our Life Sciences Department and wider University.  

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the day-to-day practical tasks required in the BSU. You will be responsible for carrying out practical tasks related to the husbandry and welfare of all animals (carried out in accordance with Home Office Guidance). You will also assist the BSU Technician and Manager on logistical matters.

It is an essential requirement of this role to hold to be in the process of gaining a Home Office (personal) licence.
