Product Management Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Special Crops (SBU) business in the UK, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Budgeting, planning, and forecasting for SBU crops.
- Collaborate with the Technical Manager for Conventional Crops to develop UK trials.
- Collect, analyze, and report business data for SBU crop species and sales activities.
- Work with the Conventional Crops Product Manager to deliver key messages to the UK marketing team.
- Maintain regular dialogue with trade customers, reporting on varietal development progress and changes in the agricultural environment.
- Organize and present at regular meetings with KWS UK stakeholders and associated customer groups.
Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Assist sales management of trade distributors with a cross-crop focus for cereals, oilseed, and pulse portfolios, aligned with our targets.
- Maintain positive client relationships in your designated area.
Your Profile:
- A first experience in the agriculture sector, specifically in agricultural sales or product management.
- Knowledge of oats and peas markets, with an understanding of sustainability application of peas (e.g., meat substitute applications), is a plus.
- Familiarity with the UK seed market and/or end-use market in agriculture.
- Some agricultural education preferred; a degree is not mandatory.
- Sociable personality with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to balance responsibilities of product management, including budgeting and forecasting, with sales activities, connecting with customers and selling all crops.
