Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Contract Type: Locum, Ongoing and Full-time
Pay Rate: £26 – £28 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
- Assessing the mental health of people referred by their GP or partner agencies and providing time-limited interventions where appropriate
- Cover duty around 1 day per week which involves triaging referrals and undertaking emergency assessments
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that is made-up of Consultant psychiatrists, junior medics, nurses, OTs, social workers, support workers (including peer-support workers), psychologists and admin
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- Experience of working in community mental health settings with patients with severe and enduring mental illness
- Assessment and communication skills
