We are currently recruiting for Food Service Assistants to be a part of our team at Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS), Horse Guards Road, London SW1A 2HQ
This is a great opportunity for those looking to develop their career within the hospitality sector, you may begin as a Hospitality Assistant but we are always on the look out to progress our team members onto bigger things in the future!
Perks of the job
- £11.95 per hour
- 2 x permanent roles available, Full time (40hrs per week) and part time (20hrs per week)
- Monday – Friday, shifts ranging between 7.30am – 5.30pm
- No evenings or weekends!
- Immediate start subject to security checks

What you’ll be doing
- Serve food and beverages to customers, the building is on Parliament square and hosts many high level civil servants and government ministers. Making drinks and some food preparation (heating, plating up as all food is pre prepared off site)
- Till operating and taking payments
- Assisting with deliveries and hospitality
- Setting up for functions
- Offering a high level of customer service when dealing with our clients
- Supporting front and back of house duties
- Clean front and back of house areas
- Stocking up and stock rotation
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Undertake relevant training as required
Experience
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable for this role but not essential as full on the job training will be given
- CTC security clearance required – minimum of 3 years UK residency
- Excellent customer service skills and a great team player!
