Job description: Clarity is recruiting for Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Milnthorpe

What you need to know:
This is a full time permanent role. 43 hours per week (Flexibility available) Monday to Friday – 09.00 – 17.30 Saturdays – 09.00 – 13.00 (1 in 2 on a rota basis).

This is a SPECIALIST CONTRACT – providing your services for the local Prison (HMP).

Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmacist with the drive to be proactive in providing an array of services in a community pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will have a real hands-on approach to the way they do things. If you love nothing more than getting to know your customers as well as being proactive in providing an array of services in a very busy community pharmacy, you could be the person they are looking for.

We are seeking an individual who embraces change and is able to support an existing team with new and existing business initiatives. You will have a positive “can do” attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience within the pharmacy. What you’ll be doing:

  • Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
  • Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
  • Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
  • Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.

What we require:

  • Registration with the GPhC
  • Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
