Senior Claims Adjuster
Job description
We are working exclusively with one of the leading insurers in the Lloyds of London market who are looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster to bolster their claims team.
The main purpose of the role will be to handle a caseload of complex claims for Professional Indemnity, D&O, Civil Liability and Crime & Fidelity from cradle to grave.
Ensure delegated claims are managed in accordance with the company claims values; ensuring effective oversight of TPAs/Service Providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews and generally sharing of best practice.
You will instruct and proactively work with panel lawyers, adjusters, and experts to ensure the best outcomes whilst controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.
Nurture and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; in particular with the underwriters and actuaries. You will act as a subject matter expert for your portfolio and provide technical advice and support to more junior members of the team.
To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience handling complex Professional Indemnity / D & O Claims in the London insurance market.
You will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package that focuses on your whole wellbeing. This includes hybrid working, a competitive base salary, non-contributory pension, discretionary bonus, insurances including health (family) and dental cover, and many other benefits to enhance financial, physical, social and psychological health.
