Job description: As a Food Counter Assistant at Sodexo in the Heathrow Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, you are not only the smile behind the counter but the person that is there at the beginning of everyone’s holiday. You will be preparing and serving food to patrons of the lounge, whilst your exceptional customer service skills put people and ease and gets families ready to fly to amazing destinations around the world. What you’ll do:

  • Delivering a world class customer experience to our customers and staff
  • Be a welcoming face in the Virgin Club Lounge whilst making sure your appearance is always impeccable.
  • Prepare and serve deli meats, cheeses, and sandwiches to guests with first class service in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and providing menu recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assisting the Head Chef or Chef Manager with paperwork including stock control
  • Completing all daily paperwork associated with the deli service accurately.

What you bring:

  • Professionalism, a zest for life and some transferrable skills
  • Always be well presented with good hygiene standards.
  • Hold excellent communication skills!
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Basic Health and Safety certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • World class customer service skills

Package Description

  • £12.22 Per hour
  • FULL TIME POSITIONS ONLY
  • 4 out of every 6 days
  • Shift pattern – 4 early – (05:15 – 14:15), 2 off, 4 late – (14:00 – 22:30), 2 off
