Job description: Recra are working in partnership with a global air conveyancing company who are looking to add a commissioning engineer to their team on a full time permanent basis, based out of their Leicestershire office.
Job Role:
- Complete the commissioning and troubleshooting of our systems on customer sites (some of which are overseas).
The Ideal Candidate:
- You must be methodical and have excellent analytical skills and extensive experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
- You must be able to fault find and resolve issues on control panels.
- Good management of health and safety.
- Great work ethic, willingness to assume responsibility and work independently, respect for strict project deadlines and cost-consciousness.
- You must be able to fault find and resolve issues on control panels.
- You must have effective communication skills and confidence as you will be required to liaise with the project team and the customer and will provide training to operative and maintenance staff in the safe and efficient use of their system.The ability to work under pressure is also important, with tight schedules necessitating extra hours at times, including ‘unsocial’ hours, particularly where equipment is in 24-hour operation.
- A flexible approach to your duties and working hours is essential and you must be prepared to travel, sometimes at short notice, throughout the UK and overseas.
- You must have a full driving license and driving experience.
