The Centre for Medical Informatics at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a Research Programme Coordinator.

The Opportunity:

Research Programme Coordinator will be responsible for providing project administrative support to the Research Manager of the Health Data Research UK Scotland Site.  This will involve assisting with the project and financial management of HDR UK Scotland’s prestigious high-profile grants and research projects in health data science.

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Assisting the HDR UK Scotland programme manager by preparing reports and forecasts on grant budgets and salaries, coordinating funds to support project management decisions. 
  • Timely co-ordinating, monitoring, and collating project deliverables and funder progress reports.
  • Planning and organising meetings and seminars and supporting the organisation of in person and virtual Scotland regional meetings and research events.
  • Liaising with HDR UK communications team on promotion of events and project web pages. Creating promotional material for events.
