Job description: The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Culture & Community team of the Edinburgh Futures Institute. We seek an experienced Community Engagement Manager to plan and deliver community engagement activities, events and projects. You will build relationships with key communities for the Edinburgh Futures Institute, ensuring we are open to all. You will support external communities to engage with us and help our staff, students and partners to build their own relationships with community partners.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), and we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experience of delivering successful engagement projects and activities with diverse communities
- Qualification in a relevant subject, for example, Community Education
- A champion for openness, fairness, equality, diversity and accessibility.
£37,099 to £44,263. GGrade UE07, per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 pa is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)
