The Role:
This is fantastic opportunity to join our growing Asset Management team at London Stansted. The role will be focused on harnessing asset data and working with experts across the business to develop whole-life infrastructure asset plans and standards to maximise value from our asset base and deliver growth, key renewals, excellent customer service and support decarbonising aviation. Your core responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the development of whole-life infrastructure asset plans and asset standards for groups of assets across the airport.
- To support Airport requirements for growth, renewals, service delivery and efficiency through accurate asset data analysis and insight. This will form the basis of developing optimised asset management solutions.
- Support ‘centres of excellence’ for asset groups, with defined asset owners, who can direct and develop the asset base to maximise value and retain knowledge.
- To develop and manage asset data and models to underpin the creation of asset management plans and support decision-making.
- To work collaboratively with the Airport operational teams, Capital Delivery and IT teams to work in an integrated fashion to support the delivery of capital investment schemes at the airport and realise benefits from investment.
- Work collaboratively with the Airport’s Maintenance team and Group Asset Information team to ensure asset performance, condition and fault data is reliable, accurate and complete.
The Asset Management team at Stansted is doubling in size and the team structure and work plans allow for a great opportunity to develop a career in Asset Management and aviation, with industry recognised training and a series of steps for career progression.

- Degree / professionally qualified
- Highly analytical and comfortable with managing data sets to support decisions.
- A clear attention to detail.
- The ability to work through your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Whole life cost experience desirable
- Risk management experience desirable
- Financial appraisal experience desirable
- Project management experience desirable
