We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a village in Bedfordshire, who are recruiting for an Food Technology Teacherwho is available for 2 terms from February 2024 – July 2024 for a long-term contract. The role would involve teaching Art to KS4 and Photography to KS5 on a full-time basis, with a permanent offer for the right Teacher.

Contract
On this full-time contract, you will be treated like a permanent member of staff with access to all CPD opportunities as well as PPA time included on your timetable. The role requires an Food Technology Teacher who can commit for at least 1 term, ideally until the end of the academic year if this is possible.
Pay
You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 – UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent.

The ideal candidate we would like to speak to will possess:
- QTS or PGCE Food Technology or Design Technology Qualification
- Food Technology Teacher with at least 1 years experience teaching up to KS4
- Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Food Technology curriculum
- Be passionate about teaching Food Technology and promoting learning in Food Technology for excellent results
- Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating Food Technology lessons
